Cervical carcinoma remains a leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women, especially in low-resource countries like India. While chemotherapy is a standard treatment for advanced stages of cervical cancer, it often leads to debilitating side effects that affect patients' physical and emotional well-being. Complementary therapies, such as Panchakarma and Naturopathy, are increasingly being explored to support conventional treatments and improve the quality of life for cancer patients. This case report presents a 42-year-old female patient diagnosed with stage IIIB cervical carcinoma, who underwent chemotherapy and received adjuvant Panchakarma and Naturopathy therapies. These therapies included Abhyanga (oil massage), Swedana (herbal steam therapy), Virechana (purgation), Nasya (nasal therapy), hydrotherapy, juice fasting, dietary modifications, and Pranayama (breathing exercises). The patient reported significant improvements in chemotherapy-induced side effects, including reduced fatigue, nausea, and improved appetite. Additionally, she experienced enhanced emotional well-being, increased energy levels, and better immune function. This integrated approach significantly improved her quality of life during chemotherapy. This case underscores the potential role of Panchakarma and Naturopathy as adjuvant therapies in cervical carcinoma treatment, offering holistic support to patients undergoing conventional cancer therapies. Further clinical studies are needed to validate the long-term benefits and safety of such complementary therapies in cancer care. Conclusion: This case report highlights the potential benefits of integrating Panchakarma and Naturopathy therapies as complementary care in patients undergoing chemotherapy for cervical carcinoma. The combination of traditional Ayurvedic treatments and naturopathic interventions, such as detoxification, immune enhancement, and dietary modifications, proved effective in alleviating chemotherapy-induced side effects, improving emotional well-being, and enhancing overall quality of life. Although these therapies are not meant to replace conventional treatments, they can serve as valuable adjuncts in managing the physical and psychological challenges faced by cancer patients. The patient in this case showed improved immune function, reduced fatigue, and better emotional balance, demonstrating the positive impact of a holistic approach to cancer care. Further research and larger clinical studies are necessary to confirm the safety, efficacy, and long-term benefits of combining Panchakarma and Naturopathy with conventional treatments in cervical carcinoma patients.
